Morrisons - On shift footwear
Hi,
What shoes can you and can’t you wear when on shift at morrisons, working day shifts on shop floor. I start soon and not sure. Will panda dunks work on shift or do they have to be all black business suit shoes, which imo is over the top for a supermarket but that’s not the point.

the real question is how did you get a job at morrisons ( pass tips pls )
i mean i had the interview like 3 weeks ago, was told id find out in a week, and didn’t so i thought i had failed it.
but all i done was smile, dress nice and luckily the guy interviewing me was nice and we have a lot of interest in common ie darts, football etc so i think that maybe influenced it.
but i have good answers which i used for questions as i have already worked 2 years in retail prior.
just dress nice and smile im sure you can get a job

Flat comfortable shoes is definitely required for working in retail especially supermarkets when you are walking around a lot.
Make sure you are wearing something that will give you some kind of protection if something heavy falls on your foot. Discuss the staff policy with the necessary store manager prior to starting.
Part-time worker in another big name UK supermarket.
