Questions about vet med at Liverpool

hello, I am currently a vet med student at Surrey and and am transferring to liverpool this coming September due to family reasons. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on a bunch of different things such as exam structure, what an average timetabled week is, where most of the first three years of teaching are held and how I could integrate studying that I wont have covered at Surrey and also the best way to go about meeting people. Im incredibly excited about the transfer but its a little daunting. Anything you think would be of use or good to know is much appreciated!

I'm sorry you've not received a reply to this. I'm going to move your thread to the vet med forum and I've edited the title to help you get replies.

@RambleAmple can you offer any advice?

Hey, I'm a third year vet student at Liverpool. I have been running a GYG blog on here and the first 2 posts have info about the course and exam structure. Most of the lectures are held in the Chadwick building with occasional variation, most practicals in the Vet Teaching Suite, clinical skills weekly in the Foresight building (new vet building this year) and occasionally Life Sciences labs, so they are all kinda similarly placed. I'm not sure about the structure at Surrey so I don't know what you've covered in comparison, but we do cover every single body system every year and build on it with each year. First year is mostly the 'normal' animal, second year focused on pharmacology, and third year is pathology of every system, plus other subjects I've covered on my GYG. I do apologise this is brief as I am having a hectic couple days but didn't want to leave you without info, feel free to message me if you have any more questions!
