Pre settled status, student finance

Hi,
I am starting university in September. I have a pre settled status, and I read that I can only apply for a tuition fee, however I found some articles saying I can get student financing if I lived in the UK in the past 3 years. I can apply for a settled status next year, is there any way of being eligible for full support?

Hi there. If you have pre-settled status as an EU national, you can only apply for the Maintenance Loan if you apply as a Migrant Worker.

If you are going to be working in the UK throughout your studies, we can assess you for funding as a Migrant Worker. This means you’d be eligible for a Maintenance Loan and Tuition Fee Loan. This funding would be based on your employment status. It's important if you have any changes in your employment to let us know, as it can affect your funding.

Evidence needed:

· Employment contract or letter from employer confirming your start date, contracted hours, rate of pay, and signed and dated.

· Your last 3 months payslips (if available)

You would need to apply for this on a PN1 form for 24/25 and post this in. Thanks, Leah.

Hi there, yes. If your hours change weekly we'd advise sending a few payslips so the assessors can determine your average (roughly) hours per week to assess you accordingly. Thanks, Jason

Hi there,

Yes we can accept Zero hour contracts, the team may also request additional payslips to check consistency.
