Choosing a University

Hello- does anyone have any advice on weighing up and choosing a university?
E.g. Warwick might offer x module, while LSE offers y, and they both sound good, but so different how do I decide which is better without just going 'that sounds good'?
Also e.g. I like LSEs ranking but not the allegations against them, how do I factor that in when I weigh them up?
Just, how do you pick? How do you weigh it up?
Thanks

You draw-up a "pros" and "cons" list for each university, and assign a weight to each factor. Then you sum them up and see which wins.

As above - writing this all down is a useful way of organising your thoughts.
A pros and cons list for each Uni, stick it up on the wall and add other stuff as you think of it.

Hi @hellohowareyou [s]smile[/s]

It can be quite difficult sometimes when it comes down to choosing between two universities but it is great you are taking the time to think about your decisions!

Like others have said, looking beyond the surface and delving into what the curriculum and modules are like between the same subject at different universities is a great way to start. It is a good idea to weigh up the pros and cons between the subject, and see what modules you prefer more.

Also, I would recommend looking into any facilities or opportunities universities offer attached to the subject that you want to do. One university could give you a better advantage more than the other!

I hope this helps!
