left uni and didnt tell sfe

hello,

for context, i left uni in december due to the my mental health being so bad because of uni i had to seek therapy, still am and im on antidepressants. I didnt take out any maintenance loan this year. but i also didnt tell sfe thinking theyd contact me. reason being my anxiety is genuinely so bad when talking about university, regardless of what the conversation is. i think im conditioned to have anxiety attacks whenever university is brought up. its kinda sad as this was my second attempt at university. any advice? ill be calling them tomorrow as i have a therapy session tomorrow.

Did you or has you uni officially withdrawn you from uni? If yes, then it is likely that your uni will have informed sfe. As you have not taken a maintenance loan, you won't be required to pay anything back now. Any tuition fee loan paid to your uni will be added to your overall loan amount and will be repayable under your normal plan conditions (ie once you earn above the threshold).

Hi.

I havent been able to make any calls due to my anxiety, i promise you i am not using this as an excuse. I have bed rotted for months because of uni and im slowly starting to get better. I didnt take maintenance loan this year, my first year i had like £3k given, the absolute minimum. And i dont make more than what sfe expects us to make for us to pay back which is 25k currently. I am going to speak to my therapist tomorrow and get her ideas on it. since i am getting better and managing better w my mental health, i might go back again this year ! I am improving, even considering to call someone after months is a big step for me.

Thanks.
