Counselling Level 2 - online or in person study?

Hi all
I’m looking to start my level 2 counselling course but struggling to decide between doing face to face study (with all venues for me being a bit of travel away/not very well rated) or online study?

Has anyone done online study and if so, who with? How did you find it? Did you find it limiting at all being online?

Many thanks in advance! 😊

I have just completed my level 2 counselling in person and my friend is doing online. Would absolutely recommend in person. Discussions are easier rather than being on zoom, you develop relationships with the group and any questions regarding assignments are easily dealt with in the moment. Hope that helps.

I completed a Level 3 counselling skills diploma completely online and self pacedcwithout any issues.

It probably helps that I have completed numerous online courses before.

I am not bothered about the social side of it, making connections. The course notes and assignment requirents are clear and email contact with the college and tutor was responsive.

My priority was to do it at my own pace and not worry about my holidays and work shifts clashing with structured lessons.

It's only an introductory level course without a practical component.

I don't manage my time particularly well but I did complete my 5 assessments on time but should have been more disciplined about it.
