How did everyone find the national 5 modern studies exam yesterday?

Not bad at all tbh. I thought it was good. Personally, I struggled a bit with the skills questions but that was because I didn't revise them much. But overall, it went well

Yeah it also went really good for me overall. I was predicted a B but I think I’m getting an A.

Predicted an A and I'll be able to get it for sure. I think I probs over-revised bc I spend so long revising but barely any of it came up haha. What option did you pick for the support and oppose skills question?

Lol I also spent hours revising and none of the really hard ones came up. I chose option 1 for the support and oppose. I felt like it had more content and I was able to do the rebuttal better. Which one did you pick?

I think it was pretty good. I have been getting A1s all year so hopefully I can get an A again. I found one of the skills questions kind of hard I think it was the support and oppose. I also had to kind off wing the 8 mark question because both questions were topics that my teacher hadn't taught me so I had to combine knowledge to try and make something up. My teacher this year missed out heaps of topics from the notes and gave us no help. Luckily, I knew the answers to the other questions. Really hoping for an A but defo not taking Modern again at least not at my school to receive such bad teaching.

Yeah I revised for so long only for three things to come up from each area. 💀 I memorized full PEE paragraphs and examples for every topic prob why it took so long.

I also chose option 1 for the support and oppose really hope I got it right 🤞

Hey! I'm a little late but for me, I found the paper to be relatively good. The 8 marker in the democracy section was awful in terms of my knowledge and what I had been taught and I was unable to answer it in full. However, I was pretty pleased with the questions for the Crime and Law and the USA World Power section, though I'm not sure what units you studied. I found the skills questions were quite easy compared to some of the past paper questions I had answered, although the support and oppose was quite challenging in my opinion. Anyways, I hope everyone is feeling okay about it! Best of luck with any other exams you have

It’s a shame that you’re teacher was so horrible but at least you’re going to do well!!!
