No picture given for provisional license

I just reapplied for my provisional. I gave all my information and when it got to the passport bit it said it couldn't use my passport picture because my passport had expired but its still got like 10 years left on the passport. It didn't ask me for an alternative picture so will the DVLA ask me if there are any issues with my picture because I don't want to have to pay another £20

For a provisional, i’m pretty sure you can take a photo from your mobile and use it.

thing is they didn't ask for a picture after so im just hoping the passport one will come through as thats the one i used last time.
