can i get all As and A*s if i cram gcses?

i was very depressed following my relapse into my eating disorder and it meant that i only was able to properly start revising for my gcses last week. i’m a fairly intelligent girl and i’ve been sitting on straight Bs with a few As without much/sufficient revising. my gcses start in literally one week with english language and i have 18 in total that are fairly spread out. i’m absolutely panicking as my life long dream is to succeed and get into a top university. is it too late for me and what advice do you have?
its not too late for you, as long as you just try your best atp, do papers and what not & loads of active recall
but either way ik it may feel otherwise rn but gcses arent end all be all you can still get to very good top unis with not all A gcses. There are a few really good unis that barely look at them.

i swear to you it’s not too late !!!! it’s definitely doable for gcses and many people have pulled it off including me, even the night before. don’t waste time making flashcards, just pm me if you want and i’ll send mine to you for any subject and give you some tips (lmk your exam boards tho !).

if i don’t hear from you again though i sincerely wish you all the best and i’m sorry you’ve had a difficult time mental health wise; you’re incredibly resilient to have gotten this far and are clearly intelligent. don’t lose hope despite what other people may say. you can defo get all A* if you rly want. <33

If you are relatively bright, it is absolutely possible! Your GCSEs are more of a reflection on your natural ability than they are on how much effort and revision you put into them. Try not to panic, I did my GCSEs last year and I promise you they are significantly easier than your school has made you believe. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t put effort into revision, but just know that if you’ve been sitting on B’s and A’s, you will almost definitely get straight A’s/A*’s providing you start revising now
