Hi there! I definitely dont think it’s too late to improve. It’s important to recognise where you went wrong in your exams so i suggest you speak to your teachers and ask them to go through your papers with you if possible. Summer break if coming up and although its important to rest, you could also take advantage of that time and maybe once a week just look back on some revision and do a past paper. Make your notes straight after every lesson moving forward and this will help you when it comes to second year as you will have your revision prepared for when if comes to the real thing. PAST PAPERS ARE A MUST!!!!! Try to do them as often as possible once you learn the content. In year 13, take your mocks and unit assessments seriously. These will influence your predicted grades (they do at my college at least). Talk to your teachers about your predicted grades and prove to them in the next coming weeks your commitment to your work- they might still change. These exams may not have gone how you planned, but remember that it is still your first year and you still have time to achieve those good grades. If you think you can do better, you definitely can. Good luck!!

I got a DDD in my end of years but i got my predicted to a BBB. You're not too late to improve, you still have loads of time to increase them. Give teachers work to mark, take it seriously and do well on the tests and ask teachers what can be done to increase these grades

It's definitely not too late! I know people who took difficult topics like physics and went from an E to an A by the end of the course. It entirely depends on the amount of work you're willing to put in for them. You could consider hiring a tutor or using sites like PMT for chemistry!
