Attacks on NHS staff on the rise

Is this symptomatic of a wider trend, ie, general levels of aggression are seemingly more prevalent and pronounced these days.
Seems like there's a lot more narcissism(for sure) and psychopathy(possibly) these days. Last thing you want to do is live on a crowded highly stressed island with narcissistic psychopaths. In all seriousness do we have an aggression problem? What do you think is the cause? And what is the solution?

Discuss please.

Most NHS staff who are attacked and assaulted are those who work in A&E Departments throughout the UK.
Most likely cause for these attacks are drunk and drug related, also could be if they were brought in by the police for checkup they tend to have a go at the staff.
