IB 2024 Tz2 papers got leaked, will boundaries go up or will we get to resit?

If some of you are unaware, almost every exam for May 24 IB students has been leaked around an hour to a day before each exam Myself and a few other are worried by this because those of us that haven't cheated will have had our work wasted because boundaries will undoubtedly be raised if everyone has memorised the mark schemes thus meaning we will receive unfairly lower marks. Is it likely that the IB will address this or do we just have to deal with it?

Man I'm also scared about this. I find it so frustrating when people do this cause it ruins hardworking peoples chances of getting a good score. Unfortunately, it is unlikely they will cancel these papers, and it is possible that they may even raise grade boundaries since more people will have found it "easier" through cheating the system. Then again, its hard to say, and don't worry to much about it :smile:

Rip, yeah I'm done for. I already had to raise my grade in these exams across like 3 subjects for my uni. I have been putting in so many hours for ages, but with this there is no way if they raise the grade boundaries that I can make it through.

nah man dont believe that. the second u start doubting yourself the moment you begin to slip. I had the exact thought during one of my exams and flunked. I actually had to imagine these were mocks and calm myself down...ended up doing like 3 times better

What evidence can you bring that these papers have been leaked and that this is not a hoax?

The leak is real. I’ve seen the email from my friend taking the exams. Our school IB coordinator has addressed the cohort that IB is investigating and the message to students is to keep heads low and do the exams. Do not touch any exam papers leaked online to avoid any complications.

Is it not true that for this cohort, IB had already asked schools to submit predicted grades? So anyone with huge swings will have spotlight shone on them. Good luck for not getting any grades. Such cheats really spoil it for everyone.

The leak happened. Its not a rumor. We realized that the paper was leaked after doing paper 1. It was on a reddit post posted 17 hours ago. As far as I know paper 2 is leaked as well. I am already very bad at math and this will ruin my chances of passing

Pretty much all of the math papers along with a couple others have been leaked. Some of the websites have like 15'000 downloads for the papers. Idk how the IB plan to deal with this considering its so widespread.

ya no they did get leaked on reddit. And wht I hope if for all cheaters to get caught and lose their diplomas. I cannot let my grades be affected by this. This is not okay. I worked for 2 years straight.

If you consider how Oxford deal with the MAT last year, I boldly guess that IBO will just sit there and do nothing...
