hiii!! We had the best week, I would forever recommend applying and doing it! The summer school really gives you a taste of what university life is like and it was a great way to spend part of my summer! Our vet med group was around 12 people I think, and we have all remained great friends and kept in contact! Everyone is so friendly and supportive and it is great meeting people from across the country! We had a range of activities scheduled across the week including lectures, supervisions where we worked on a group project, talks about applications, a tour of the vet school, dissections and spending time on the dairy farm! It is such an engaging week! I would recommend you apply! Even if you don’t think you want to necessarily go to Cambridge, or decide you won’t after the summer school just attending is so valuable! For me it really solidified my decision to apply to Cambridge as it gave me a true indication of what life may be like up there! Also to add we had so many fun activities for the evening such as punting and quiz nights! You become friends with everyone and the student ambassadors are amazing! If I can recall the application process wasn’t too difficult but it may be different this year? You can apply via the Sutton trust website :smile:

it’s mostly information about context such as predicted grades, where you live and bits like that! It is quite selective due to the low number of places compared to medicine so I was quite shocked when I got a place! I would say go for it! Just apply and see what happens :smile:
