Don't worry. I am towards the end of gen z - 2007 - and i dont get it either. The problem is youtube. We used to watch proper cartoons like ben 10 or shows that had meaning behind it. Nowadays, kids dont watch these shows and instead watch random **** on youtube where its just a guy playing some modded game, driving cars or shooting people with nerf guns. I think its down to a change in parenting

lol. Mate, i am the man i am right now because i was lucky enough to not be born a few years later in gen alpha. I honestly think there is a stark difference in the mindset of us and you lot...
