Hey Caitlinnn,

Congratulations on your offers! They’re amazing.

When it comes to choosing, I’d really look into the courses first of all. Which uni has the best modules? How many contact hours are there? How is the course taught? I imagine all of this information should be on the course page, but there should be someone you can email to find out more about this.

Can you go to any offer holder/open days too? This will give you a good chance to get a feel of the university, the city, the course and the student life.

If you have any more questions, especially about Exeter in particular please don’t hesitate to let me know!

All the best,

Jen, University of Exeter student ambassador

The father of Economics Adam Smith literally studied at Glasgow Uni so its gotta be good at Glasgow (I love Glasgow; though I'm a Microbiology student to be fair)

Hi there!

I am just finishing my first year at Glasgow studying Mechanical Engineering, and I have to say I absolutely love the campus, university and city. There's so much to do here, we have two incredible student unions which have weekly club nights and special events throughout the year, the West End is an amazing place to live and the campus is beautiful, which really helps on those long library days!

I have quite a few friends who are doing politics and economics, and all seem to really love it! Adam Smith is one of our most famous alumni, and we have a gorgeous new business building in his name as part of our ongoing campus development.

To hear from students doing more similar courses you can use the ask a student service on our website: University of Glasgow - Study - Student life - Chat to our students, staff and alumni

All in all I couldn't recommend Glasgow enough, my first year has been incredible, I've met so many amazing people and had a lot of fun!

Best of luck with your decision!
