Early december my mum passed away which lead to me obviously going home to help with the funeral and everything. A couple days after, i found my mums partner in the bedroom after she suffered a overdose. I had to move two of my exams into summer, now meaning i only have one shot at them. This has affected me and is still affecting me, and now i'm stressing that if i fail i'll be done at university. How likely is it that they will let me retake first year? I belieive i can do well, but balancing my current mental health and dealing with being fully finanically indepedent is starting to take a toll on my studying and focus in lectures. I believe i can pass, but i understand there is a chance i won't, and i won't be able to retake the exams due to them aready being moved once.
Is it likely i will be able to retake the first year off my studies? I go the university of sheffield and am in the school of law studying Criminology.
