Writing two answers for Nat 5 maths exam

I wrote two answers for 3 of the questions in my nat5 maths exam Will I get the mark for the correct one

I think they give you the marks for the answer with the most marks although it might work different for maths

You might be able to check in the marking scheme aswell how marks are awarded

No, you won’t. If you have two answers using the same strategy to get the answers, they award the lower mark. If you have two answers with two VALID strategies, they award the strategy with the higher mark.
Realistically, if one of the strategies isn’t valid, you’ll probably get the lower mark of the two. I’m not exactly sure what constitutes a strategy though.

it depends on the question, actually
if it's a quadratic question, you would need 2 answers to get the marks, meaning you wouldn't lose marks
if you have two answers for a question that has one final answer, you'd definitely lose the final mark, and then any marks for working out would be given as seen fit
hope this helps x

If you write multiple answers, the marker will award you the LOWEST scoring answer (aka the wrong answer, so no marks)
