Epq tips

Hi! I’m a year 12 student currently Writing my EPQ. I’m finding it really hard having no structure to go from and feel like it’s way too descriptive. Does anyone have an effective structure/sentence starters that they used. I’m hoping for an A* to reduce my uni grades but I’m not sure if it’s sophisticated enough. I’m not very far in which is why I can easily make amendments.
Any help is really appreciated!

The best one to use is the to what extent... format. It allows you to argue both sides and for you to put in your own views having done research. You don't have to answer yes/no and can instead say yes to an extent given factors a, b, and c. But also one has to consider d, e, and f when evaluating the extent to which. What question were you going for? I got a perfect score in the EPQ and would love to help (did AQA though).

Hi, thanks so much for your response! My EPQ is very criminology based ‘Nature vs Nurture: is a person born evil or made evil by their environment? Any help is really appreciated!

Do you know which exam board/specification you're doing your EPQ with?
