Be brutally honest about KCL please

Hi there !

I just firmed my offer to study International Relations at Kings, and altought I am super happy about my choice and excited go there, I'm still wondering if it's the best option. I also received an offer to study political science at the University of Amsterdam and I like the course too, so now I am hesitating. I need a brutally honest review of Kings so that I can evaluate if paying this much for a degree is worth it. Thanx !!!

They're very similarity ranked overall as universities and for this subject, with Kings being slightly higher. The 'problem' with Kings is it's one of several top ranked London universities, although Politics/International Relations is definitely one of its strong points. Another problem is people say it can be hard to make friends at the top London universities.
If someone told me they have a degree from the University of Amsterdam, I'd have a different question. I'd think 'OK, that's a capital city and it clearly sounds like the primary university there so it's probably pretty good indeed'. But, as someone from the UK, I might also think 'Why Amsterdam?' But then if I saw it dates from the 1600s, I'd be interested.
