"We can't find your application right now"

When trying to link my application to my mother's account, after putting in my Customer Reference Number and date of birth correctly on her account, it confirms that I've put it in correctly with the following message: "[My Name] is applying for student finance for the academic year 2024 to 2025"
But when I click Continue, the following message pops up: "We can't find your application right now. There may be an issue with our records at the moment. Please try again later." This could be because I've only just submitted my application, but I feel if that were the case then a lot of other people would've encountered this issue, and based on what I've looked up, nobody has, so if any of you have any idea what might be happening or how I can fix this then any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
