You don't, that's okay.
When you apply you should indicated your preferred university and course.
You can change this online at any point before September.

No you don't. Just pick your best guess and apply. The uni and your course can be changed easily at a later date.

You can submit just one student finance application that's why you need to pick your best guess at this stage.

Yes. Lots of students change the uni on their student finance application after results day in August if they don't end up with a place at their firm or decide to enter clearing.

ohhh okay thanks. i might apply for clearing then as all the offers i got rn arent places im too keen on going to. can i still apply for student finance even though i want to enter clearing?

Still apply for student finance now, even if you want to enter clearing.
If you are not happy with any of the offers you have, it is possible to decline them all and apply to somewhere else now using UCAS Extra. You will need to check that the uni you are interested in still has vacancies first. Think very carefully before you decline your current offers:
