This seems wrong; personally the man should at least mention that he has a girlfriend.

I’ve been with men that keep their lives private, meaning they don’t share or show pictures and that’s okay, but they still bring up having a girlfriend.

Get the girl to discuss about this issue with her man and see what he says.
