potential clearing if i don’t achieve N5 maths?

Hi, I received an offer from Strathclyde for journalism, with my only condition being nat 5 maths. I did the exam yesterday but i’m very worried that i didn’t achieve that grade, so i was just wondering how likely it is or if it’s possible to still be accepted if i don’t get a C on results day? Thanks:smile:

Hey there!

We don't automatically reject applicants if you miss the conditions of your offer. Once we receive the grades we'll start to review applications again and if we are still able to offer a place then we will. If you achieve less than a C then we will re-consider you, but I couldn't say whether that would lead to an acceptance or not.

We'll be running an advice/guidance line on SQA results day so you can give us a call if you'd like to chat about anything 🙂 Once it's live the number will be on the homepage!

Hi, but my conditional offer was to get a C in Nat 5 maths, I thought that meant that I will definitely get accepted if I achieve that?

Hey Anon! Sorry - I mistyped in my previous post 🙂 I should've said if you achieve a C you'll automatically be accepted. If you don't achieve the C then we'll re-consider but I can't guarantee the offer would be made.

Sorry for the confusion - I'll update my above post too!
