How generous are nat 5 maths markers?

Hi, I currently have a conditional for uni based on getting a C in nat 5 maths. Does anyone know if markers are particularly generous with marks, e.g giving out follow through marks and marks for getting part of the question right but not the final answer?

They will give you marks for the working if it’s right

Markers are encouraged to give marks where they can, however it is pretty subjective if markers are "generous" as each marker is different and mark things slightly differently.

In maths you should get marks for correct working even if you do not get the correct final answer and follow through marks. I would suggest looking at the SQA website to see the marking schemes from past years.

Realistically they will want to give out as many marks as they reasonably can. For giving out follow through marks in maths they will give marks for follow through as long as you haven't made the question easier. Good luck hope you get your conditions!
