Biology tips

Hi has anyone got any tips for how to remember biological processes for gcse aqa? Eg nervous system, food tests ect

Try and link it to something that you can remember easily. For example for food tests

Biuret and Benedict’s both start with B and they are both initially blue

For a positive test, Benedict’s turns green, orange or brick red (ie traffic light colours!)

Sudan (II) is used for lipids and you add III/3 drops of it

Don’t worry about the very detailed specifics about food tests ie the volumes you need. The most important thing is the positive and negative test results
