Results day process

Does anybody know how lenient Leeds are with their results day process? My offer for Accounting and Finance is ADD (Distinctions) but I'm worried that I might not get the A. I will get a Distinction* for business and am wondering if they would accept BD*D and I also already received an A in core maths. As A&F is quite competitive I'm not sure if this would be the case?

It's not a matter of them being lenient - it's simply down to candidate numbers.

Universities get your results a week before you do. The first thing they'll do is confirm the place of all their "firm" offer-holders who met their offer grades. Then they'll do the same for any "insurance" offer-holders who weren't accepted by their firm choice, but who met their insurance offer from Leeds. They are obliged to confirm the place of these two groups of candidates, even if it means accepting more candidates than they'd ideally like.

If, having done this, the course is now full, then you'll be out of luck I'm afraid. However, if there are still some spaces left, they'll likely turn to their "near miss" candidates (which you would be at BD*D). They'll look through that group of candidates and confirm the place of the "best" such candidates. This might include you, given that you'd have exceeded your offer conditions by one grade (in addition to having missed them by one grade).

Nobody, not even Leeds themselves, know how many "near miss" candidates (if any) they'll need to fill the course. You'll just have to wait and see, I'm afraid.
