I know someone who does law (OCR I believe), they find it quite difficult. There seems to be a lot of case studies and dates to remember as well as specific definitions. Also I heard them mention they have to 'interpret' how to answer the question and if they interpret wrong and write about the wrong thing then they get no marks. Of course this will differ for different exam boards as well as the ability of the students. There's plenty of people in my psychology and sociology class doing law, so they are a good pairing of subjects.
Don't know anyone doing cs or economics or business, sorry

Omg my college wanna go do ocr law do you have friends that do psych soc and law and can you give em their thoughts like which is the easiest meaning to revise exam paper understanding exam structure questions markers interest and manageable like content wise like I’m confused out of the 3 which has the most content and least and same to memorisation but heard people say law is easier then psych and I was asking you which got to memorise more in psych or Soc like psych got to know concepts evaluation points studies psychologists and soc got to learn concepts names and sociologists and not just that got to memorise essay examples which easier to predict questions too lmk thanks and lmk what your friend thinks of the combo proper content heavy I wanna do one of these maybe 2 but not both psych and soc as many say gets confusing as overlaps a lot for example research methods sorry for the waffle but you get the drill what I am saying right

Psychology and sociology seem similar but they're actually very different, there's not much to get mixed up on. Yes there's some overlap like with research methods but there's different content and they're assessed completely differently. It's pretty much impossible to get them muddled up because they're easy to differentiate

I can get back to you about what my mates think of law, psych and socio in a few days when I see them on Monday

I did psychology(edexcel), philosophy religion and ethics(OCR) and maths(edexcel) at a level and I regret taking philosophy. The content drags so much, I was so interested in the subject but the actual exam and learning content was not it. The whole subject is pure content memorisation and application. Yes, psychology is quite similar, but I found it way easier to learn the psychology content and it’s easier to visualise why something works a certain way in psychology. In terms of the actual exam, again I believe the set up of the psychology exam was much easier, having a range of 4-20 markers. Whereas, PRE was 3 x 40 mark essays which was marked based on the whole essay itself whereas psychology was easier to get marks just for naming a technique and then marks for applying/explaining. I would personally not recommend philosophy unless you’re okay with the amount of content and essay writing.

Again, it does depend on exam board.

As I've said before I can't tell you which is more manageable for you because you are different to what I would think. Personally I find psychology more manageable for reasons I have mentioned before

Sorry, I can't message them because I don't have them on any socials, I only talk to them in person. I'll let you know asap though

Do you have to submit the form today? I'm already my way home mate I'm not seeing them until tomorrow now😅 I think I recall them saying they find socio the easiest

You mentioned you find psych more interesting. You should go for your own choice using your own opinions as everyone's opinions on a subject will be different. You've got a lot of replies to this thread and there's also many resources online to help you make an informed decision if you're still contemplating. You might also be given the option to change your choices in the future if you're still on the fence

No sorry, they don't have this app. I've answered the questions you've asked as well as I can on my previous replies to you; if you want responses from other people on TSR you could wait for replies from different people or start a new thread asking your specific questions?

Sorry, but it's not the best idea to wait for my friend's responses as we have our own things going on and we don't see each other for too long throughout the day so I might not have a chance to ask all of the questions you want answers too. They don't have any app you can contact them on either. Just reading your questions you asked previously more carefully. I remember having a conservation with them about subjects, so I'll recall some info for you.

They mentioned law has the hardest essays due to having to interpret the answers to the questions. Law also has quite a lot of content and memorisation, however this is common for most if not all a-level subjects. Law, psych and socio are all content heavy subjects so it's hard to differentiate which has the most content, it's not a straightforward answer. If I'm being completely honest, I don't think any is more enjoyable to revise than others.

If you want to know anything I might get back to you tomorrow. However please don't expect anything because we do have our own stuff going on right now so I might not have a chance to ask, or I might not be able to ask in detail so sorry in advance. It's great that you want to know as much as possible on the subjects you're choosing but at the end of the day it's your decision

They said they're least worried about sociology so I'd say they find sociology questions the easiest out if the three

As I said before I might not get the chance to ask these questions. I understand you want to get as many opinions from different people as possible but I'm not a reliable source as I don't know if I'll be able to ask my friends these questions, sorry. Please don't expect me to come back with anything because me and my friends have our own things going on so there may not be enough time for me to ask your queries.

I'd say doing psych and socio together is a good idea because they're different subjects but they also complement eachother well. I answered your other questions in my previous replies. If you're still not satisfied with these answers I've also pointed you to more reliable sources to help you make a definate decision on your subjects
