Should I pick up AS-Level Art in Year 13?

I'm in Year 12 rn studying Maths, English Lit and Drama. So far I've been wanting to do Film Production at uni, but recently I've been considering Digital Media instead as it seems like something I would enjoy more. However, quite a lot of the courses I looked at required either a media/art based subject at A-Level or a portfolio (or both!), but my school does not provide Media Studies, only Art. I considered dropping one of my subjects now (yes, end of Year12) and doing a full Art A-Level in Year 13, but that is probably crazy...
So instead I'm thinking of keeping my 3 subjects and additionally doing an AS in Art next year. I've done Art at GCSE (9) and have experience of taking an early language A-Level in a year.

Is the Art AS-Level worth it, at least for the portfolio building?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
