Edexcel IAL M1 May 2024

does anyone have any predictions/tips for the upcoming Edexcel IAL M1 May 2024 session paper? I am finding it very difficult to get above 60 out of the 75 overall.

it was. even the momentum question wasn’t as straightforward and that really just ruined it for me.

According to discord and reddit, everyone found the paper either average or hard.

haha same i did the last part of the pulleys question in a hurry and I think I made a calculation error somewhere. The annoying thing was I knew how to do it I just hadn’t paced myself right with that vectors question😭

did you guys manage to find the answer for q3 or 4 (I don't really remember), it was about two particles connected vertically and they were accelerating downwards. and It asked what was the upper tension.

i got all a stars in my igcses and have done well so far in my a levels alhamdullilah. imagine my shock when i found it im casually gonna get a ******* d or e in m1. this is ****ing me off. why the **** do the grade boundaries have to be so high? dont grade boundaries work depending on the difficulty perceived by the people who did it? everyone ive seen so far on reddit and here have said that it was either normal or hard. literally no one is sayin it was easy. then why the **** are the grade boundaries high as ****?
