Speeding thru average speed

I would like to know if i got fined or not.
I was going the speed of 50 miles per hour, and past an average speed camera, that was the speed limit, then the next average speed, was after the speed changed to 40, i didn’t realise that it changed, and ran the average camera while still going 50 mph, will i get a fine

Wait a few days and you'll find out - I believe that you can now take a driving safety awareness course instead of paying a fine nowadays anyway
When the limit went from 50 to 40, was this a temporary change for roadworks/road conditions or a permanent one? If its a permanent one a fine or awareness course certainly seems possible but you might just avoid it.

It was permanent, but it was only a maximum of about 150 meters

I think you'd be pretty unlucky if it caught you, hopefully falls into the area of doubt where they don't bother. Most car speedo do overcompensate a touch (you can often see the difference with a satnav comparison) so if it says you're doing 50 it's mibbie 48/49 in reality, enough to skew the average in your favour a bit.
