which uni do i pick (notts or swansea)

ive applied for pharmacy at both nottingham and swansea and got a place at both but now i cant decide which one to firm. realistically im aware that nottingham is amazing, especially for pharmacy and turning it down for swansea sounds like a weird decision. but ive got real life pharmacy experience and i know a lot about the industry so i feel that regardless ive got a pretty decent head start bc its so difficult to get any kind of healthcare experience. as well, swansea is a rlly beautiful place and i feel like i could do well there. but i also feel like i could do well at nottingham, and also its a great uni with great connotations. im aware of the pros and cons of both (for me) but i just wanted people who go to one or the other or who study pharmacy to hear what their opinions are to help me make the decision of which to firm. thanks !!

I study Pharmacy at swansea and absolutely love it! I'm pretty sure one of my lecturers was actually a previous lecture at Nottingham pharmacy lol

Obviously, location and city feel will differ a lot between Swansea and Nottingham...both have lots to offer I'm sure, but it depends on what's important to you. Swansea has beautiful beaches, community, culture and nightlife, whilst Nottingham is much bigger also with vibrant culture and social scene.

Course-wise, at Swansea we build on the strengths of the Medical School by adopting an interdisciplinary approach. We recognise that Pharmacists, Doctors and Nurses work together in a clinical setting so education and training should reflect this. You'll benefit from our experience and expertise in clinical and life science, research, training and practice, helping you to develop your pharmaceutical practice, science and knowledge.

During the four-year integrated master’s degree you will follow a curriculum designed to reflect the way Pharmacists approach patients and how patients present to Pharmacists. We combine fundamental and complex scientific principles with how it is applied to give you a clear understanding of the practice of Pharmacy.
