What Access course to HE Nursing or Midwifery courses at college are actually good?

Hi,

I really do hope someone can help me and be as detailed as possible. I'm looking into colleges specifically in Central London or West London that do Access to HE Nursing & or Midwifery Level 3. I've searched for quite some time and most of the ones I've seen have mixed reviews sometimes BAD reviews sadly, for many of their courses. Although there are not many reviews about the Nursing or Midwifery in particular. If there's anyone that can help also listing them and describing what the course was like I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Hey, :wavey:

Unfortunately, you will always see some bad reviews and this is mainly because everyone has different experiences, views and opinions.

We would recommend you visit as many colleges as you can to be able to get a feel for the college yourself and to check out their facilities.

Check out the websites of some colleges you are considering to see if they have any open days coming up. If not, i would contact the colleges to try and arrange a visit.

By attending an open day you can chat to the tutors, potentially current students and you will be able to determine if this is the right college for you.

We hope this helps and good luck!

Although it's not the area you are looking for Sandwell do the Midwifery Access Level 3 course and it is online, can be done over one or two years to suit your schedule and I cannot recommend the support from the staff when/if you need it. Fantastic system for tracking your progress and credits achieved and can also see your timeline for when each module is due.

I agree - I did mine here and it has been great (just waiting on results!). Although from experience, when I started you did have to enrol in person so they may need to factor in a trip to West Brom.
