drvgs before exams?

ok so not drvgs but beta blockers. Is it a good idea to take beta blockers for exams? I have a doctors appointment soon and I am hoping they will provide me with some beta blockers. Before exams I get really stressed and find hard to breathe and shake a lot. I’m hoping these will help. But my question is will is affect my performance on my exams? These exams are pretty important for me and I need to be the best I can be. I’ve heard that the blockers can actually cause some people to be “too calm” and cause them to actually perform bad due to them being too relaxed, is this true? Because I do believe a little bit of pressure will help me in my exam. Please help

being nervous is good personally (like in my mocks), because I think it makes you a bit sharper, especially in exams like eng. lang. where you have to think on ur feet. Idk how bad ur nervousness gets before exams and if its rly bad u should probably listen to ur doctor

Yes I agree. I think the pressure is kind of good for me in a way. I just really really don’t want to mess these exams up. And what if the pressure gets too much? That’s what I’m worried about
how it usually works for me, and I get pretty good grades- I got all 9s in my mocks. Essentially, if you have revised, you will initially feel really nervous, because the key to good revision is revising like every day is the last day before the exam. And every moment up until you get to that exam hall you are absolutely ******** it, but as soon as you get in, it all just dissipates. Ig mocks arent teh real thing but its teh closest thing I have to reference
