Yr 12 law work experience
Hey guys,
I've been trying to find work experience in local law firms but can't seem to get a placement and this is stressing me out.
And the thing is I'm trying my best because I remember I called at least 10 law firms last Wednesday.
I called them and emailed them my CV and cover letter but I can't find any law firms that can accept me.
Do you guys have any tips?
Or know law firms that can accept Yr 12 students in London?

Hi, I would recommend shadowing lawyers/judges. I remember south walk use to do shadowing but sadly they don't do it anymore. Email your local law firms and your local courts like magistrates/ crown court. Bird & Bird does some placements. I would recommend researching law firms who have opportunities catered to year 12. This may be a little difficult as these opportunities usually open during the beginning of year 12. I would also recommend virtual work experience, it doesn't necessarily have to be face to face.
