Foundation Pre-Degree maintenance loan

hello!

how are you guys applying for yr sfe maintenance loans?? cannot find the foundation in art & design on ual's list of courses :frown:

is that not available until our proper degree after foundation?

rly lost & anxious to be genuinely honest

Hey, there’s no maintenance loan for a foundation. You can get a loan for fees if you’re 19 and over (for under 19s foundation is free). UAL has a foundation bursary, which could help with housing & materials costs. I think you need to apply for that separately from your course application https://www.arts.ac.uk/study-at-ual/fees-and-funding/foundation-scholarships-and-funding

If the foundation year is attached to a degree then you are eligible for maintenance loan. But if it is just a foundation year then there is no maintenance loan
