Hi,
Sorry as this is a bit of a complicated question. I am not pregnant but would like to start thinking about having children. However, I began studying Adut Nursing with Foundation Year in April 2021. I completed my Foundation Year and Year 1 and enrolled in Year 2 of Nursing and then began to lose my sight. In April 2023 it was decided I was no longer able to continue Nursing. I was then able to transfer to a Psychology and Counselling course which began in September 2023. As I had already had my 4 years of Tuition Fee Loan, I had to apply for Compelling Circumstances in order to be able to get Tuition Fee funding for the remaining 2 years of my Psychology and Counselling Degree.
What i'd like to know is, if I were to (hopefully) become pregnant and take a year out of Uni would I then be able to return after maternity leave or would I not be entitled to any more Tuition Fee funding? Would I be eligible for Compelling Circumstances? Or would I not be able to gety any more Tuition Fee funding due to already having my 4 years +2 for Compelling Circumstances? I'm so desperate to have children but do not want to give up my studies if it means I am not able to return in the future.
Many thanks
