Taking New A Levels in One Year to get into Oxford

I’m currently in year 13. Due to health reasons I missed quite a lot of year 12 and am set to do badly in my A Levels this year. If I take new A Levels; Politics, RS and English Literature, in one year (I’ll be doing them with the open study college so I’ll get my predicted grades after I complete 50% of the course) do I have a good chance of getting onto the English language and literature degree at Oxford?

I would contact Oxford and explain that you were ill and unable to attend school as it counts as ‘extenuating circumstances’ and they may lower your offer or offer you a foundation year
