I don’t have C Grade in my IG Math

I messed up by not scoring C in my IGCSE math and now that I look at entry requirements of universities in London they all ask for C or above in math and English ( I have a b grade in English as a second language) can I still apply or will it not be worth it?! Someone plz help!!! Has anyone faced a similar problem?

A C grade in Maths is normal for most universities and if you dont have it you will be rejected. You need to retake it and universities will then attach it to the grade conditions.

A few years ago someone I helped on here got offers for Kings, Exeter and 3 others for History despite not having a C in Maths. Mybe you need to look into that.

As above, ask your school about resitting this alongside your A levels - you would then just add this as another 'pending' qualification and any offer would include this as an extra condition. Normally all very straightforward.

Did they re-sit the exam or not?

Resitting for this will be a huge chaos cuz of my family and school. My school didn’t warn us about this, they said IGCSE doesn’t matter. Idk what to do now:frown:

If you want to go to university most will require GCSE grade C before you commence the course. It might be different for an international student but you will need to check with the universities that interest you but any leading university normally insists on grade C. Without it you dont get in. You really dont have any choice whether its difficult for your family or not. Basically it is get in and get in or dont take it and dont get in. It is as simple as that.
