English at the University of Bristol?

I'm currently deciding whether to firm Bristol or not (for a join honours in English and History), the only thing that is putting me off is the student satisfaction and rankings for english.

If anyone is studying English at Bristol, or knows someone who is, I would really appreciate some honest reviews of the course. I love everything about this university, but seeing low feedback rates is making me a bit worried.

Congratulations on receiving an offer!

It sounds like you have a big decision to make. When I was deciding on a university, one of my options was Bristol. I also got an offer from them; it is a wonderful university in terms of its facilities, and the staff seemed welcoming when I looked around campus.

The best way to get to know a university is by attending an open day, if this is possible for you. As you can meet with other students and staff members. Another way to learn more about a university would be to speak to a unibuddy; they can offer advice and answer any course-related questions about specific universities. The most important thing when deciding on a university is ensuring you will be happy, as your well-being should always come first.
