What is your source? (Please be as precise as possible. "I heard it at school" or "It's on Twitter" would not be very useful, for example.)

OMG. "Online" tell us nothing. Unless you tell us where (preferably with a link to the page, or at least the name of the site), then we're all going to assume that you're just making this up for a bit of drama.

They don't know where they saw it online? They don't know what web site they were on or what app they were using?! That's exactly what someone who was making it up would say.

Because if you know the source and tell the wrong people about it, you could get into serious criminal trouble and be removed from all GCSE/A level exams, meaning you get Us and are banned from retaking them for a set amount of time.
Also, for the mods, they could get into legal trouble if they don't take down leaked papers. If there is a leak, all leaked papers have to be withdrawn and reprinted with the contingency paper, meaning the exam gets moved to one of the contingency days.
How is a leakage even possible, I’m sittings the exam on 16th may, hope this is not true! Aren’t the edexcel 2024 papers locked up?

i think contingency ppl do the same papers as everyone else cuz why don’t we get given the contingency ones for practice if they are different

Contingency papers are for when the whole exam is cancelled owing to a national emergency.

I'm pretty sure it was the maths 2023 papers that got leaked, plus the exam boards have put in measures so that students don't have an advantage of seeing leaked papers before hand. So there's no point.

Do you have a source from edexcel confirming this? Any links?
