no - your gcse's are nowhere near good enough, and neither are your predicted grades. pol and ir is one of the most competitive courses. you're competing with people with 5 A* predicted at all 9s.
just being honest.

Yea you can get in. You won’t know until you try. However, it might be worth emailing them. I know people who got into Russell groups with level 5’s 6’s in English and mathematics.

I'm going to be brutally honest here, it'll most likely be an immediate rejection as they automatically screen via GCSES. You need an average grade of 7.8 and at least one A* predicted at A-level to get in. Have a look at the 2024 admissions spreadsheet to see your chances. Best of luck !

Hi, thank you. I can't find the spreadsheet, please could you share the link and do you think I have any chances at Warwick, Sheffield, Exeter, Bath, UCL etc? Thanks again

Ofc, here is the link. Most of us politics and IR folk are near the bottom : ) But yes with AAA you have a very solid chance at all 5 of the named options, if you could persuade a teacher to push up a grade to A* and write a stellar personal statement, LSE could be attainable too.
