Super-curriculars to boost personal statement?

I applied to quite a few and got accepted into some. I did a residential in Cambridge and I'm doing a mentoring project. I applied for a Nuffield placement and was shortlisted, however haven't heard back, and I was rejected from the Sutton trust residential in St Andrews. I've been looking to apply to more things to do over the summer however it seems all the deadlines have already passed, anyone know anything that I can still do? (Year 12, looking to study physics/maths)
Don't worry about it too much, and certainly not to the detriment of your academic work. A few things is fine, and they certainly don't need to be officially run initiatives. You can take some free courses, attend some lectures etc. What matters is that you make a plausible case that your interest in the subject is sincere. Everything else is of negligible importance.

Do some 'relevant reading' - undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/sites/www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/super-curricular_suggestions.pdf
because just 'doing stuff' does not in itself make you a preferred applicant.

Unis want to see 'engaged in subject', 'able to discuss subject' and 'uses academic examples to show interest in more advanced areas of the subject' - not just 'I did this'.

And there is no indication on the website that Physics/Maths is still open - so contact Bath to check : [email protected] or phone 01225 384281

I had my email back about Nuffield on Friday. I got accepted, I don’t know about you?
