Hi!

Which summer school have you applied to at YSJ?

Summer schools are a great time to experience uni before going to university! Most people who come to the summer school don’t know anyone before they come, which can be quite daunting if you have never done anything like this before or never stayed away from home before. However, there’s a lot of opportunities to get to know others at the summer school though your acdemic sessions, soctiy taster sessions and just by staying in the accommodation in general.

Student Ambassadors will be around throughout the whole summer school and are great people to ask questions or let know if your feel anxious about anything! We are here to make your time at Summer School a great experience for you.

If you have any questions about the YSJ summer school just let me know, as I’ve worked the last couple of summer schools and will be working at the summer school again this year, so I’ll be able to answer most questions!

Hi, which YSJ summer schools are available and where do we find info? I'm the parental support of a student with additional needs who doesn't seek out these things. I'd like to point them in the right direction. Thanks

Hi,

I'm really sorry but the summer schools for 2024 are now over, however they are annual event, so it's worth keeping an eye out on the website for updates for the Summer Schools in 2025. They normally occur in June and July. There is usually 3 different summer schools each year.
