To be honest, any opinion on this is going to be entirely based on anecdotal evidence - who people have personally met or just random unspecified bias - but ultimately, the majority of the university population is left-leaning because it's young, highly educated people. It is likely that the colleges with the largest proportion of private school kids will be more right wing, of course, but really there will be a variety in every single college

They don't have political leanings. Cambridge City and the surroundings are Lib Dem/Labour. Academics tend to be similar. Student populations are a) very international, b) don't care and c) change almost completely every 3 years.
