Changing form choice

Hi am a year 13 who wants to change their firm choice from Hallam to uni of Sheffield but my 14 day deadline has passed by 1 day due to weekends and bank holiday does the 14 day deadline only count working days that ucas are running or does it count weekends or bank holidays as well please help because I’m actually stressed out

I believe it’s 14 calendar days. Can’t recall if bank hols are discounted, although I’d guess not.

Call UCAS tomorrow and see if they can do a swap. I think it’ll be complicated by it being med though. You may need to speak to the relevant units directly. But try UCAS first.

I dident apply for med I think I got the thread wrong I applied for law and criminology but I have been trying to contact ucas since Thursday but can’t get through so do u think they will understand my circumstances because I have not been able to get through for 5 days

It’s not down to whether UCAS understand your circumstances, it’s just whether your choices approve swaps.

Its often still possible to switch F&I at this stage - but it depends entirely on the permission of each Uni involved.
To get the process started you need to phone UCAS. Just be certain that this is what you want to do before you call them.
