International student apply physiotherapy in UK - any suggestion?

I came to Canada on G10, however, I would like to study physiotherapy now (G11) but there is no Bachelor degree of PT in Canada, hence I have to shift to UK.

Anyone advise PT U in UK in teams of teaching quality, accomodation, especially placment (nearby the U or need to travel far away - 1.5 to 2hrs one way), U have good PT facilities, any other things I need to be paid attention when choosing PT U in UK. Kindly have your valueable comment.

Hi SarahCave,

Here at the University of Bradford, we have a specialist Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic, where students are able to complete one of the many placements they are required to complete there. The staff are all registered with the HCPC - Health Care and Professions Council and deliver the best quality of teaching.

In terms of accommodation, we have a popular on-campus accommodation known as 'The Green', with multiple facilities, as well as other accommodations on campus - all within a 5-10 minute walk from University buildings, so everything is pretty close by! We also have a Unipol Housing Hub on Campus, who can help students with housing, if you required any further support or wanted to look at private accommodation.

Bradford is a lively and friendly city, with a diverse population and the University has many societies and groups so you would be able to get settled in very easily!

I hope you can consider the University of Bradford when deciding!

All the best,
~ Zaynab

Use the NHS course finder to search for HCPC-approved courses in the UK:

https://www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/career-planning/course-finder

Accommodation at unis in the north of the country will be cheaper than those in the south. Try to narrow down your search by deciding what size of city you would be happy living in, then review the course pages on uni websites.
