Should I be truthful

I sadly lost my job. On a social media platform I still have my role and the company on the platform site, I don't work there anymore.

I'm actively applying to new jobs and I'm don't know how long it will take until I find a new position.

I'm worried what employers would think about me when I have no job role or title against my name.

Should I just be truthful and remove the company and role from the social media platform?

Are you talking about LinkedIn? If not, and it's just Facebook, Instagram etc then I never usually bothered changing the details as a lot of employers won't check, and secondly you just may not be active on there. If you are speaking about LinkedIn, just make sure the rest is all up to date and it shouldn't matter. Best of luck in finding something new!
