Hard to answer without more context, are these factors in any way under my control? like if you were just an entry level retail employee your answer would probably be 'do nothing/laugh'
I'd need a better picture of the situation - If the delivery hasn't arrived, where is it and when is it expected? How long do we have till opening? What stock if any do we have? Will coffee be in our delivery or could we possibly send someone to collect some from the next store? This would play a part in me deciding if the store could realistically still open on time, would be briefly delayed or in the worst case had to remain closed and redirect customers to another location.
