Revision Strategies for Yr10 Mocks

Hi,
I need help revising for my yr10 mocks, i'm so nervous about it so badly, just constantly worried, its annoying. I'm not into the habit of studying because it's just too much for me. Here are my topics:
Eng Lang/Lit
Food
Geography
Maths
Combined Science
French
Photography

I'm not too worried about french, just the speaking part but all in all its just all of the subjects. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hey, i dont do food but i do take the others.

For lit, try memorising 2 or 3 quotes for each character/theme. Some quotes will go into more than one.

For lang, just exam practice. So practice creative writing and have a look at past papers for that.

For maths, practice again. I use mathswatch so if your school uses that for homework its really useful. Maybe try seneca as well.

For science, the best one is seneca for active recall and use freesciencelessons on youtube if youre stuck on any topics.

For geography, make sure you know your case studies and processes. Mind mapping it could help.

For French, try and learn some more advanced vocab to include and remember the basics. Practice speaking in front of family, friends or the mirror.

All in all, seneca is really useful and if in doubt watch a youtube video.

I hope this helps and you do well.

Hi, don’t fret too much about year 10 mocks. Instead use it as a marker to show what you need to work on the most. Here are some subject based tips:

Eng/Lang Lit: I recommend the YouTuber Mr Salles, or Mr Bruff. Watch their videos and write down notes on flash cards to test yourself daily. Try to make summary sheets with each theme e.g mindmap style.

Maths: I recommend daily practice using your textbook, or the 5 a day excersises on CorbettMaths. Try to do as many past exam questions or topic based questions as possible and on a regular basis.

Science: Use PhysicsMathsTutor to find topic based questions, and regularly quiz using flashcards.
