I have applied for Accommodation although York is insurance Choice. I understand that firm Choice students get first pick but how are insurance Choice Accommodation requests dealt with? How many Insurance Choice students get Accommodation? How soon after results day are you notified?

Hi,
It's difficult to say how many insurance students get an offer of accommodation - it depends on how many students make York their firm choice and apply for accommodation with us. We do everything we can to assist every student in securing accommodation. Room offers are sent out in batches from Thursday 15 August (A-Level Results Day) so you should hear back fairly soon after results day if not on the day itself!
